Cutting Requirements:
For each basket, you will need to cut:
1 - 4 7/8" square of medium or dark print. Cut in half on the diagonal. (One Template A is needed for each basket block.)
1 - 2 7/8" square of medium or dark print. Cut in half on the diagonal. (Two of Template C necessary for each basket block.)
1 - 4 7/8" square of light background fabric. Cut in half on the diagonal. (48 Template A/light background fabric necessary to make 24 basket blocks.)
2 - 2 1/2" squares of light background fabric. (48 Template B/light background fabric necessary to make 24 basket blocks.)
1 - Template D (basket handle) Cut 24 assorted medium and dark basket handles.

Make 5 blocks, and cut 4 fabric squares. Cut 4 hearts, and fuse webbing to fabric. Fuse hearts to fabric squares. Sew together as shown. Add inner and outer borders. Finished size is about 36 inches square.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
to make the block - Draw diagonal line on wrong side of green print 3 1/4" square with marking tool of your choice. place green print square on background 12 1/2" square, right sides together, aligning raw edges. Stitch on drawn line; trim away and discard excess fabric. Repeat at each corner. Press seam toward green print to make pieced square.
Applique the flower on desired method.
